Add, subtract, and convert SMPTE timecodes across all major frame rates — including drop frame. No login, no nonsense.
This timecode calculator supports all standard SMPTE frame rates used in professional video production: 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, and 60fps. Drop frame timecode is correctly handled for 29.97 and 59.94fps using the SMPTE standard algorithm.
Use Add to combine two clip durations. Use Subtract to find the difference between two timecodes. Use Duration to calculate the running time between an in point and out point. Use Convert to decode a single timecode into total frames, seconds, and HH:MM:SS.ms — useful for subtitle files, web video cue points, and delivery specs.
Timecodes can be entered with or without colons — type 01234500 and it will be interpreted as 01:23:45:00 automatically.
